All eyes were set to capture the historic moment at
international Hockey League Raipur when Akshdeep received the ball from Mandeep
near the penalty spot after 47 minutes in their second match against Germany .
Crowd shouted, danced and hooted to support Indian Hockey Team. High energy, better understanding and
co-ordination can be termed secret of this tie.

“WE were aggressive right from the beginning this time and
tried that we give no chance to the other team to dominate us.” said Akashdeep,
player from Indian Hockey team. Whatever
their coach –Oltsmans told them they tried to follow it.

Keeping in mind the lacklustre performance of Indian team
against the Argentina on the opening Day , the second match of Team India
against Germany was not so much expected
tie on the second day, though the efforts and willingness to heal the patches
was clearly seen among the players.
While addressing to the media person Germany Hocket team
Captain after the match said “We were not surprised to see India playing so aggressively
and coordinated. They are improving rapidly and they came up the same way.”
